Your presence, generosity, and support helped make the day truly extraordinary, raising $970,000 net to transform the lives of young South Australians. 

From learning how to change a tyre and perform basic car maintenance, to getting career advice for apprenticeships, it was a hands-on, confidence-building day full of practical skills and inspiration.

Last week, we celebrated over 258 young people across 22 schools in SA, WA, and NSW completing their Youth Opportunities programs. Their heartfelt speeches reflected newfound confidence, purpose, and hope — a proud moment for our entire community!

Year 10 students at Clare High School are stepping up through Youth Opportunities’ Personal Development Program, gaining confidence, leadership skills, and resilience.

The ‘Your Move – Plan Ahead, Skills for Life, Own It’ workshop will help students build confidence, teamwork, and practical skills for senior school.

As Term 3 draws to a close, we want to thank our valued Youth Opportunities partner, Codan, for supporting our program rollout at Salisbury High.

Youth Opportunities’ annual Stars in the Garden event was another outstanding success this year, and we are absolutely delighted to announce it’s our best fundraising result ever! 

Reflecting helps us to develop our skills and review their effectiveness, rather than just carry-on doing things as we have always done them. It is about questioning, in a positive way, what we do and why we do it, and then deciding whether there is a better, or more efficient way of doing it in the future.

On Friday 10 May, the 17^th Annual Youth Opportunities Golf Day, presented by Tanti Group of Companies, saw 38 teams and 114 players tee off at the Glenelg Golf Club.
