Power-Up Personal Leadership Program

Power-up supports students to take the first step in their journey to become a personal leader by taking responsibility for their thoughts, feelings and actions, which results in improved wellbeing, behaviour and attitudes of students to create a more cohesive school environment.

Location: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, Tas, Vic, WA

Audience: Year 5, Year 6

Delivery: Delivered in classroom by Youth Opportunities licensed trainers/teachers

Schedule: Nine 45-minute lessons (aligned to the Australian curriculum) per a school term

Aims & approach

Students work through up to 9 tools and topics that help them in their journey to become a personal leader by taking responsibility for their thoughts, feelings and actions, which results in improved wellbeing, behaviour and attitudes of students creating a more cohesive school environment.

How this licenced program is delivered in your school.

  • Standard class size of Year 5 to 6 students

  • Nine 45-minute lessons (aligned to the Australian Curriculum) over a school term

  • Access to online platform, including lesson plans, and resources to deliver the program
