Connecting with School Leaders at the 2026 SASPA Conference
The Youth Opportunities team recently had the pleasure of attending the 2026 South Australian Secondary Principals’ Association (SASPA) Annual Conference, bringing together educators, school leaders and sector partners from across South Australia.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect with leaders working across the secondary education sector and reflect on the opportunities and challenges facing young people and schools today and explore how we can work together to make a meaningful and positive impact for young people.
“It was fantastic to connect with so many passionate school leaders at the SASPA Annual Conference. The conversations reinforced for me just how important genuine partnerships are in creating better opportunities for young people. When we bring different perspectives together and keep young people at the centre, we have a real opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference.”

Our programs work alongside schools to equip students with the mindset and life skills to make positive choices, stay engaged in education, and take control of their future.
Events like the SASPA Annual Conference give us the opportunity to connect with the people who are at the heart of this work, who know their students, understand their communities and are committed to helping young people thrive.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Youth Opportunities stand, we loved connecting with you, sharing what we do and hearing about the incredible work happening in schools across SA. And a special congratulations to Samantha Schultz from Moonta Area School, the lucky winner of our Klipsch New York City Music Speaker, generously donated by Harvey Norman Gepps Cross!
