Generations of Change: An afternoon of connection at Chalk Hill
On Friday 18 September, we continued our Generations of Change series with a wonderful ladies’ lunch at Chalk Hill Wines in McLaren Vale, bringing together valued supporters and new friends of Youth Opportunities for an afternoon of connection, conversation and inspiration.
Guests heard from Hannah Foord, Channel 7 News Reporter of the Year, who shared her insights and experience, before Youth Opportunities graduate Gina Woodman spoke about her own journey and the impact the program has had on her life.
Our Youth Opportunities Trainer, Carly, also brought the program to life with a facilitated STAR round, giving guests the opportunity to experience one of the practical tools used in our programs and see firsthand the power of sending STARs to recognise and celebrate the strengths in others.
With beautiful weather, a stunning setting and fantastic company, the afternoon was a wonderful opportunity to introduce new people to Youth Opportunities, strengthen existing relationships and share more about the difference our programs make in the lives of young people.
