  • “Thanks to Youth Opportunities, I’ve discovered that I want to help others. I want to become a police officer - to be there for people when they are scared, uncertain, or going through the hardest moments of their lives. Now that the program is coming to an end, I know I’ll never forget the lessons I’ve learned, the skills I’ve gained, or the confidence to rise above negativity. I will never stop growing, and I’ll keep changing for the better.”

  • "The webinar was great! As a first-year teacher with an engineering background, I joined for professional development to better understand students - not just teach content, but also improve engagement, behaviour management, and differentiation. I'd love to attend more session as I'm seeking a learning community like this."

  • The program can support a cultural shift in schools by helping young people with the tools and strategies to create change in their lives. We work with young people to grow their confidence, improve their self-esteem, enhance their planning skills, strengthen their communication and think about their futures. We consistently hear from our school partners that young people come back into the school environment with a sense of self and purpose. In the classroom, educators report better attendance, reduced behaviour issues, improved academic performance and a more positive learning environment. Young people have reported that the program has a positive impact on their wellbeing, their relationships and their ability to engage with education. We see young people who attend our programs as more likely to gain employment and a clear purpose.

  • Our programs can be tailored to fit the specific needs of your schools depending on your cohort and needs of your young people.
