With 3 in 10 young Australians facing barriers to achieving their goals - such as low motivation, poor mental health, and lack of confidence - our mission has never been more critical.
Youth Opportunities works in partnership with schools to support young people facing barriers to thrive. Our research-based Personal Leadership Programs are delivered at critical transition points, helping students build confidence, resilience and a sense of direction.
Run weekly over a school term, the program equips young people with practical tools in goal setting, self-belief and emotional awareness. These are skills that support stronger wellbeing, greater engagement in learning and more positive future pathways.
As a result, more young people are gaining access to the guidance and opportunities they need to realise their potential and create a future they believe in.

Through early intervention and holistic support, we’re helping young people build the skills and strategies they need to thrive.
We’re deeply grateful to our community of supporters — schools, educators, partners, and donors — who make this impact possible. Together, we’re building a future where every young person can lead their life with purpose, resilience, and hope.
